Meet the team

David Munyua

Partner

David is an accountant and auditor with over 10 years of experience in financial reporting, audit, tax and consulting. He has, previously, held various audit and consulting positions at global audit and consulting firms. David has extensive experience in IFRS, IPSAS, IAS and GAAP accounting styles. He has consulted for organisations in the manufacturing, government, trading, technology, education, financial services and mining sectors. David holds an udergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi. Also, David is a certified public accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and a certified information systems auditor (CISA). He is an active player in the venture capital sector in Kenya having founded or invested in startups. He is the co-founder of DNM Capital, a boutique private equity firm in Kenya.

James Kamande

Audit Manager

James has over 10 years of professional experience in accounting, internal and external auditing and tax consulting. He specialises in audits, due diligence and consulting assignments in East, Central and Southern Africa

Ruth Mwiti

Tax, regulatory and compliance

Ruth has over 13 years of professional experience in tax. She has experience in tax risk review, tax opportunity review, tax planning and general tax advisory services. Ruth, also, has experience in business restructuring. She trains finance teams how to comply with existing legislation on tax. Her focus is on development of global transfer pricing policies, implementation and documentation of said policies and she is a valuable source of insights into statutory tax audits. Ruth helps clients handle objections from revenue authorities and makes submissions on behalf of clients to the tax appeals tribunal. She has advised companies on domestic taxes (VAT and income tax) and tax incentives in Kenya. Ruth is a CPA-K

Michael has over 13 years of professional experience in accounting, audit and tax consulting. He has conducted audits, due diligence and consulting assignments all around East Africa. Michael has, previously, held various audit and consulting positions at global audit and consulting firms. Michael has wide experience in IFRS, IPSAS, IAS, and GAAP styles of accounting.
